Nashville Itinerary

Updated: Jan 9, 2022

I visited Nashville in November 2021 and had a great time. Broadway was always very busy, especially during nightlife. My favorite part of the city was all of the street art - which was enjoyed from our golf card tour of the city :)

(Every location is linked, and my top recommendations are *starred).

Places/Experiences:

Vanderbilt University: A well known University located in the Music City. Beautiful campus & just fun to explore!

Country Music Hall of Fame: A beautiful museum dedicated to country music. In my Nashville tour, I learned that the building itself has many instruments secretly designed within the architecture. If you look close enough, you’ll see a few. - “One of the world's largest museums and research centers dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of American vernacular music.”

Golf Cart Tour: Just like visiting any city, you really should take the time to book a tour and learn all of the small details & fun facts about the place you're exploring. We decided to book with a company called JoyRide - which offers various tours such as golf carts, monster trucks, etc. We really enjoyed our golf cart tour, which just included my boyfriend & I. Our personal tour took us all around Nashville, which allowed us to see & learn so much.

Printers Alley: The center of Nashvilles printing industry. Cute to walk around and see.

Uncommon James: "Founded and creatively directed by television personality and fashion entrepreneur Kristin Cavallari, Uncommon James is a collection of timeless, effortless and sophisticated jewelry for women on-the-go."

Food:

  • *Assembly Food Hall: Nashville’s food hall located on Broadway. We got sushi, pizza, and drinks and all were very good. Overall an awesome ambiance and a great place to start your evening.

*Hampton Social: A popular brunch place in Nashville - that you’ll most likely want to make a reservation for. The food and atmosphere were both great.

  • Bloody Mary

  • French Fries

  • Sunrise Beach Bowl: brown rice, quinoa, avocado, plantains, onion, fried egg, black beans, salsa, jalapeño aioli.

🍪 MILK CHOCOLATE CHIP

A warm cookie with milk chocolate chips.

🍭 CLASSIC SUGAR

Our classic sugar cookie base topped with a perfect pink swirl of almond-flavored frosting.

🥕 CARROT CAKE

A spiced carrot cake cookie layered with rich cream cheese frosting and garnished with a pecan crumble.

🍫 DARK DREAM

A decadent chocolate cookie packed and topped with loads of melty, gooey, semi-sweet chocolate chips.

⛺ S’MORES

A graham cracker cookie stuffed with milk chocolate chips and topped with a melty marshmallow creme and a sprinkle of graham cracker crumbs.

🍏 APPLE PIE (NEW)

A warm oat cookie filled with a spiced apple pie filling and topped with oaty cookie crumbs.

*Hattie B’s: The most popular Nashville hot chicken. With 6 levels of heat, you’re bound to find a flavor you love. I tried both levels 3 (Medium) & 4 (Hot) and both were awesome & packed with a lot of flavor. Next time, I’ll go for level 5 (damn hot). The mac n cheese & fries were good as well, but you definitely go for the chicken. Don’t forget to try the hattie b’s side sauce!

Drinks:

Tennessee Legend Distillery: A “moonshine stop in the smokey mountains.” A great place to do a free tasting of the most unique flavors. I purchased the Peanut Butter Cup Whiskey and it is awesome.

Broadway Street: The main street of Nashville - & probably the most popular place to take photos. This street is mainly nightlife, with a few small shops. The cool thing about nightlife on this street is that it includes bars that were created by & named after famous country music stars. These bars are even fun during the day, and some have live music!

Next Time:

Places I didn’t get to explore, but plan on once I return.
