Cape Cod Itinerary

Updated: Dec 25, 2022

I went to Cape Cod, specifically the Brewster/Dennis area, in May 2021 and had a blast. Theres many different towns and they all have a gems. Take a look at the list below to see how I spent my vacation - other than on the beach of course.

(Every location is linked, and my top recommendations are *starred).

Food/Coffee:

*Marylou’s Coffee: A Massachusetts coffee shop that has many unique flavors. I’ve heard that Marylou’s is different because the coffee beans itself are flavored, rather than adding syrups to the coffee. You can also buy the coffee beans to take home and enjoy!

  • Iced Twix with almond milk

  • Iced PB Iced Coffee

*Jomamas Bagels: A popular bagel shop that is the go-to breakfast spot. Went a few times and it never disappointed!

Rory’s Market: A small, family owned organic market that sells healthy options. Also has a breakfast bar where you can order. I got avocado toast and a smoothie.

*Cleat & Anchor: A GREAT brunch place that had a lot of character - and the food was very flavorful as well.

  • Bloody Mary

  • Cinnamon Toast Crunch Mudslide

  • Clam Chowder

  • Buffalo Chicken

Linx Tavern: Restaurant located at The Villages at Ocean Edge Resorts. Complete with a patio and live music, you're bound to have a great time. We both got cod with a side of french fries - and it was very good.

Bluefins Sushi: A popular sushi location on the cape. Was pretty good and beautiful inside.

Brax Landing: Another popular restaurant - and you guessed it, they have seafood! We had a few drinks & a lobster roll. Both were very good! Also had a great view of the water.

  • Nantucket Blueberry Mule

  • Whiskey + Blue Curacao

  • Hay Wire: Raspberries, Light Rum, & a splash of Sour Mix

*Sweet Tomatoes Pizza: This pizza was SO good, we went twice. A cute little shop and they even sold delicious (and huge) chocolate chip cookies.

Gina's by The Sea: Open April - November, this place is a staple on the Cape. Known for its great food and home feel.

Anaho Mexican Bistro: A picture-perfect yummy looking Mexican spot.

Dessert:

*Eat Cake 4 Breakfast: A dessert based breakfast cafe that has a Paris theme. Honestly anything from here is good - but expect a line because of that.

Sundae School: THE ice cream place on the cape. Very good!

Ice Cream Cafe: Another popular ice cream spot on the cape.

*Captain Baker Donut Shop: An AMAZING local donut shop with many flavors. Made to order, right in front of you, and will not disappoint.

  • Cannoli

  • Fluffer Nutter

  • West Dennis Beach

  • Smores

  • Blueberry Pie

  • Garden

Shopping:

Eden Hand Arts: The home of the official Cape Cod bracelet. It gets very busy so you need to get a free "ticket" online to hold your spot.

Provincetown:

Commercial Street: The main street in Provincetown full of restaurants & shops.

The Lobster Pot: A popular seafood restaurant on the beach.

  • Clam Chowder

  • Lobster Bisque

  • Calamari

  • Lobster Arancini
